Two national public holidays next week: Wednesday 6th December, “Constitution Day” (Día de la Constitución) marks the anniversary of a referendum held in Spain on December 6, 1978. In this referendum, a new constitution was approved. , Friday 8th, Día de la Inmaculada, celebrates the solemn belief in the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the most important Marian feasts in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church, celebrated worldwide.
