By categories, the best macro and wildlife photo was for Eladio Frías and Joana Pereira; Marc Giménez and Ana Clavero won the award as best model; Sacha Lobenstein and Carlos González also took the award for the best free picture, and Yeray Delgado and Abigail Martín, the big winners of the night , also won the title for the best photo environment. By winning the category, each team won € 200 prize.
On the other hand, the final result of the competitions Lanzarote Geopark and Atlantic Museum that were made in parallel was also known. The present edition of the Open Photosub Lanzarote Mar de Lava had the participation of 18 teams that dived during two days to photograph the spectacular sea beds of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

The 10 years of the Open Photosub Lanzarote Mar de Lava had as novelties the opening of the exhibition ‘Lanzarote Submarina’, which can be visited until July 31 at Marina Lanzarote, and the level of the awards whose amount amounted to 15,000 euros for the first time that were distributed in trips, material and checks.
