Cardiff City FC U18s tour in Lanzarote

The U18 pre-season tour in Lanzarote is coming to an end on Wed 25 and the players and staff are already looking forward to returning in the future.

The objective of the tour is not only to provide a week of training for the players, but also to explore the opportunity of establishing an affiliation with local Club Unión Puerto Del Carmen.

The team and staff managed to enjoy some leisure time in between training and the match to experience what a great island this is. They really enjoyed the time they spent on the beach in Puerto del Carmen and last Thursday they had a fantastic time at Go Karting San Bartolomé.

They played a game against the local “Juveniles” from Puerto del Carmen on Saturday, a 2-0 victory for the Bluebirds in this the first of their pre-season games.

This new organisation has been created by the Lanzarote Business Association at the request of local property, property management companies and owners. The aim is to protect individual property owners and to work and lobby on their behalf to bring about changes and clarification regarding the current villa rental laws.

It has been clearly established that property owners and associated companies and businesses need an organisation that can work on their behalf. This new project needs the support of everyone. The authorities need to be made aware just how large the villa rental market is and the amount of business it generates for the island.

In order to explain more about Lanzarote Property Owners a meeting has been arranged.
