From the 1st July 2012, bo th British Consulates in Las Palmas and Santa Cruz will be introducing important operational changes.

Joining us on the day will be Guest Speakers from the Local Government as well as representatives from the financial and property sectors.
There will be an opportunity on the day to present your questions to them.

Venue: Gran Hotel, Arrecife
Time: 10.30 a.m.
Attendance is free but places are limited and must be reserved in advance.
We are the only official organisation for foreigners registered in the Town Halls and Cabildo in Lanzarote. As a member we can voice your complaints, thoughts and suggestions and lobby on your behalf.

Easy walking on Lanzarote’s Footpaths

Sandie is not a resident of Lanzarote but is a frequent visitor who spends some part of every year on the island. She is a member of the Lanzarote Creative Writing Group.
Lanzarote has many walking opportunities to suit all ages, abilities and levels of experience. For a small island such as this is, the choice is really extensive and the main problem is choosing where to begin! The good news is that you don’t have to embark on a full day’s trek in the more remote areas of the island to experience its peace and tranquillity, and wealth of fascinating flora and fauna.

Lanzarote is a small Island, one of the seven that makes up the Canary Islands. Although we are Spanish we are nowhere near Spain. We are situated some 60 miles from the African coast and benefit from a sub tropical climate.
