THANKS TO DIGITAL LANCELOT

The Lanzarote Business Confederation (CEL) held a meeting on Tuesday with representatives of the Canary Islands Coalition at the island and regional level, in order to discuss the main social and business needs of the Island.

The meeting was attended by the president of CEL, Francisco Martínez; the vice president, Rafael Morales; the general secretary, Beatriz Salazar, as well as other members of the integrated organizations, and the general secretary and candidate for the Presidency of the Canary Islands by CC, Fernando Clavijo; the candidate for Parliament, Migdalia Machín; the mayor of Teguise and candidate for the Presidency of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, and the CC spokesman in the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, among others.

Francisco Martínez echoed the requests of the businessmen and entrepreneurs of Lanzarote, transferring to Clavijo and the rest of the representatives the needs and support required by the business fabric of the Island.

“We are at a time when we must make ourselves seen as a group of businessmen and ask for solutions to some of the most bloody problems in the sector that do not allow us to move forward and grow,” said the president.

For his part, Clavijo presented to the members of the Confederation present his intention to promote Vocational Training to promote youth employment in the Canary Islands, to fight against the underground economy and to implement a Support Plan for Entrepreneurship, among other ideas focused on Business field.

On the other hand, with regard to the social level of Lanzarote, the nationalist representatives recognized the importance of investing in roads, housing, water for daily and agricultural use or in the recovery of spaces such as La Geria, as the main axes to consolidate the development of the Island.
