Lanzarote is now home to the first underwater museum in Europe! The launch of the museum was held in Playa Blanca to much applause and interest from the large crowd. There were speeches from local officials including the head of Tourismo Lanzarote, and the British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor who designed and built the sculptors.
