Saturday 18th May there is to be a BBQ in aid of the the Niños del Tercer Mundo. This charity raises money to support education projects in Kenya. The venue is Albergue de Tegoyo, Conil and it starts at 2.00p.m.
In addition to the music and bric a brac stalls there is to be a cake baking competition. Are you a budding cake maker, fancy entering the Great Lanzarote Bake Off??
They are running a competition at the charity BBQ, the theme is to be “Africa “. One of Lanzarote´s
finest chefs , German Blanco, previously Head Chef at the Amura Restaurant will judge the competition and also has donated the fabulous First Prize of a dinner for 2 at his new Restaurant “la Tegala” in Macher.
Children are invited to take part as well, in a separate category for under 12s and will have the chance to win a family day pass to the “Rancho Texas Park.”
