An exercise in reflection on the human footprint on the planet
The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers presented yesterday the latest proposal of the 9th ArteLanzarote Biennial Meeting 2017, One man-10 days-settlement 29º-13º, an innovative project that places man in front of nature by the hand of the Dutch artist Arnon Grunberg , that will live during ten days in complete solitude in a small demolished construction temporarily enabled in the skirts of the Risco de Famara. A solar panel, a desk, a bed, a shower and a toilet are the elements that will be part of your day to day. It is a project of the visual artist Marieke Schoonderbeek, in collaboration with the artistic researcher and mediator Eva Pel.
