THANKS TO LANCELOT DIGITAL

Arenao, the production company behind the renowned festival Sonidos Líquidos, has joined forces with the brand Festivales Para Un Territorio to launch a new project, Canari. This festival, which will be held on November 17, 18 and 19, will offer a variety of experiences linked to music, territory, gastronomy and heritage in different spaces in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

Neftalí Acosta, director of Arenao, has expressed his enthusiasm for this new project in Lanzarote, highlighting the importance of the islands’ territory as the protagonist of the event. “Canari was born in this edition in Lanzarote, without forgetting La Graciosa. But with the firm objective of touring the archipelago in successive editions,” adds Acosta.

The festival was presented this morning in Salinas de Janubio together with Carlos Montilla, director of Festivales Para un Territorio and I-radia Crea. Montilla points out: “We couldn’t be more satisfied to be able to add Lanzarote to the Festivals Para Un Territorio map. Canari is differentiated by its own identity, adapts to the environment and avoids overcrowding.”

The British The Divine Comedy headline this first edition in addition to having Maika Makovski, as well as Melenas, The Parrots along with the local bands Zürych and Adora, among the first confirmations.

Experiences are an essential part of programming. The brand’s flagship activity, the Territorio Tasting, in which both wines from the island and other regions will be presented, will be added to other experiences, such as a visit to the Janubio Salt Flats, a landscape of great cultural value. , in which the sea salt extraction process will be explained. The heritage, cultural and sculpture route in both Arrecife and the town of San Bartolomé will also be essential, along with a special visit to La Graciosa to complete the weekend.

Gastronomy will be another of the fundamental pillars that give Canari a differential value. Quality dishes, made with kilometer zero ingredients that highlight the variety and richness of the flavors native to the islands.

Canari is the fifth festival to join the Festivales Para un Territorio brand, which already has events in Galicia, Euskadi and the Valencian Community. Season tickets for Canari will be available starting this Friday on the festivalcanari.com website at a special price of 30 euros.

Likewise, as is the case with Liquid Sounds and Festivals for a Territory, the festival will have a mobility plan to protect the environment and will offer a special transportation service to access the main concerts and activities. Tickets for transportation can be purchased on the same website soon.

This project has the support of Promotur, Turismo de Canarias, the Cabildo of Lanzarote, the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers, and the City Councils of Arrecife, Teguise and San Bartolomé.
