Dining out in Lanzarote with friends, whether it be tapas by the sea after work or dinner in one of the traditional restaurants, is always a pleasurable experience. Great local dishes, relaxed atmosphere, and fair prices.
But once in a while it’s good to get really dressed up, meet with friends and have an evening of fine dining and entertainment. This week saw the now Annual Summer Ball at the Bocaina Restaurant (an LBA member) in Playa Blanca, hosted by its owners Nina & Paul.
An array of ladies in their stunning evening gowns and cocktail dresses and the gents in their Sunday best or dinner suites, gathered in the early evening sunshine for champagne cocktails on the terrace. To follow was an evening with amazing dishes that were as good to look at as they were to eat!! Local musicians provided after-dinner entertainment to complete the evening. Truly a night to remember.
