WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE FUTURE OF LANZAROTE

Five Communities One Voice

We would like to say thanks to Jan from the Bookswop in Playa Blanca, Ted and Eileen from the Bookswop in Puerto del Carmen, and Gaye Ann from the Coronas newsagent in Costa Teguise for kindly agreeing to be donation drop off points.  As you may know Daniel Trigg President of the Lanzarote Business and Residents Association has successfully succeeded in bringing together five Lanzarote based communities in one united group who have pledged to support each other and work together to help bring Lanzarote back to life. The community groups are represented by their presidents on behalf of the Hindu, Chinese, Arabic, French and English-speaking communities of residents, made up of British and Irish, Norwegian, the groups are; CLUBDIALANZ – Dharmendra Jethani – AIXIN – Jin Chen Longguang – AHLIL -Khalid Laaroussi Tijani – LBRA (France) – Dominique Caitucoli – LBRA Lanzarote Business and Residents Association – Daniel Henry Trigg

 

The group are now putting together a project to provide essential school materials for children who need help in obtaining these items; we are asking for anyone who can donate to please do so; we need school books (new and second hand) note pads, pencil cases, pens, pencils, rubbers etc, all the items you would need for your school work.

 

The donated items will then be taken to the Cabildo who will distribute them to the individual schools and pupils, if anyone can help with collection and deliveries please let us know, many thanks for your help and support in these difficult and challenging times.

Coronas Newsagent and gift shop in Costa Teguise, open Monday – Saturday 09.00 – 3.00
