As you know we continue to work to ensure that Lanzarote, along with the other Canary Islands regain their strong position in the market place and that tourism returns when it is safe to do so. Meanwhile many businesses and individuals are suffering from lack of financial support, whilst continuing to still pay taxes, bills, general upkeep and mortgages etc. We were invited to put forward our thoughts, suggestions, and proposals to the Canarian Government and we share these with you below.

Ayudas a empresas

Aid to companies
Direct financing for the self-employed and SMEs in the form of a subsidy, to be justified before the end of 2021.
Concept: stimulate the market.
It can be intended for several concepts, the most important being:
1) Business maintenance
2nd) Investment
1st) It would include the payment of the rent of the premises / commercial establishment / business, or housing.
Home or business mortgage payment
Electricity / water bills
Tax payment
Payment of wages
Payment of professional expenses (consulting, accounting, labor and legal)
2nd) Stimulation and improvement of establishments
Purchase of any material that represents a business improvement: investment in new technology, material, tools, posters, furniture (tables and chairs in the hotel industry), freezers, refrigerators, hospitality machinery in general, vehicles, etc.
The most efficient thing would be for the money to be delivered for these concepts, which should be justified for June 30 and December 30 for example.
A maximum amount could be requested depending on the billing that that freelancer or company has – for example, up to 30%.
