The Canary Islands have launched a free iphone App for their Water Sports Experience.
In a press release yesterday, the Deputy Minister for Tourism in the Canary Islands confirmed that they had released an app promoting water sports for the iphone.
The app can be downloaded for free from the itunes store, users can find 147 different locations around the islands detailing sites for windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, scuba diving and marinas together with over 500 photos and 40 videos and is called Islas Canarias Water Sports. Each location has GPS and Google Maps enabled.
The application was released several days ago.
The app is currently available in English and Spanish.
