Cruise ship record in the port of Arrecife

Arrecife will receive this Monday, September 9, the scale of the great ocean liner Explorer of de Seas, with a gross tonnage of 138,000 tons and 15 decks (heights). This ship, belonging to one of the large shipping companies dedicated to the world of cruise ships, Royal Caribbean, was remodeled in 2015. It is the second ship to be built from the Voyager class of the Royal Caribbean and has a capacity for 3114 (3840) tourists and a crew of up to 1,181 people. The cruise will arrive on Monday at the port of Arrecife, about 8 am and will head to Lisbon at 7 pm.

 

From the City Council of Arrecife it is estimated that the nearly 4,000 people traveling in the Explorer of the Seas, with their stopover this September 9 in the capital of Lanzarote, will realize a high spending capacity when sailing, when they embark on the journey , almost three days to reach its next stop, in the capital of Portugal. Even, the usual departure time of the cruises that arrive at Los Mármoles is between 17 and 18 hours, and on this occasion, they will depart at 19 hours, with more time to be in Lanzarote, visiting the island tourist centers, enjoy from the terraces in the downtown area of ​​Arrecife, or shop at the stores in the area.
