The purpose of these meters is to know what possibilities Arrecife has to improve its traffic.
The cables have been arranged for several weeks on various roads on the island such as the Arrecife bypass or the downtown area of the capital. The fear has been perpetrated among the drivers thinking that they were radars and that the fines would reach their homes, but that is not the case.
The Minister of Mobility of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Patricia Pérez, confirms that traffic flows are being measured in different areas of the capital, emphasizing areas such as the Hospital, schools or downtown area. The objective is that you throw the data to see the possibilities within the Mobility Plan, for Arrecife.
