Food and Wine Festival Lanzarote – 26th and 27th November 2016

This fantastic event will once again take place on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November.

The VI Food and Wine Festival of Lanzarote, offers a superb selection of food and wine from Lanzarote. Professionals from other areas of Spain and the Canary Islands together with local chefs will exhibit spectacular public displays and cutting-edge culinary concepts, where local products are the protagonist.  The artisans will show their products through various food and catering outlets from the island, with many restaurateurs and catering companies dedicated to satisfing the most discerning palates. La Villa de Teguise, host of the event, soaks this passion for gastronomy and in many of the restaurants in the old town you can enjoy a special menu created for the occasion.


This year the festival theme will be “The Sea and Sustainable Food. A cuisine that drives the insular primary sector, which generates income and economy for our neighbours who maintain a unique landscape, while providing a healthy cuisine with product known traceability, and provides attributes of authenticity and originality, which are values necessary for the tourist economic future. In short, the local cuisine is an emblem of sustainability addition. This event is loaded with many new features, and a great range of activities, the participation of Chef Paco Pérez (5 stars Michelin), Saborea España, with Valladolid, Vinarós and Tenerife, will ensure this event; will become the best showcase of the expertise of the professionals in this island.
