The airline easyJet has announced the opening of the next summer campaign of a route between Bordeaux and Lanzarote, the fourteenth connection established by this company of British economic fares with the island. The intention of easyJet is to maintain this route in winter, which joins the three that already link Lanzarote with other airports in London, as well as connections with Paris Charles De Gaulle, Milan, Amsterdam, Liverpool, Bristol, Belfast, Basel , Berlin-Schönefeld, Venice and Manchester

The insular advisor of Tourism Promotion, Ángel Vázquez (PP), highlights that “the opening of this new route, which is added to the one already opened with the Paris Charles De Gaulle airport by this important partner with which Turismo Lanzarote maintains a close This relationship will increase connectivity with an increasingly consolidated market for the island, such as the French, with which Volotea and Vueling companies also operate on a regular basis. “

In fact, emphasizes the counselor, of the three new routes that easyJet will open next year between France and the Canary Islands, one corresponds to Lanzarote and the other two to Tenerife, specifically those that will link the Reina Sofía Airport with the cities of Nantes and Lyon .

It should be remembered that last September an easyJet director traveled to the island to participate, as a result of the collaboration agreements between both parties, in a workshop with representatives of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society (SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote), which had the participation of partners and sponsors of the insular promotional entity.
