Sunday 19th May saw a fantastic turn out for the Lanzarote Business and Residents Association, annual Go Karting Grandprix, organised in conjunction with Go Karting San Bartolome. 16 teams took part in what turned out to be a fast and furious finish with the Winners being Los Conjeros. In 2nd place was Team Go Karting San Bartolome and in 3rd place were the 29ers. The racers were evenly matched but some were a lot more competitive than others, especially LBA President Danny and his brother Jamie who came in 4th place representing Sunset Beach!
There were over 100 spectators and the event raised money for Asociation Tinguafaya and PDC Football Club. It really was a great event with live music and children’s activities. The LBA and Go Karting San Bartolome would like to thank all those that took part and the spectators for their support. It was great to see so many LBA members supporting the event and a special thanks to Jennifer Cunningham Insurance for the T Shirts and Hats!
