The Canarian Government announced yesterday that the long awaited draft for holiday rentals (Vivienda Vacacional Decree) will be published in the near future. Tourism minister Maria Teresa Lorenzo said in Parliament that the new decree would allow some owners to let residential properties in touristic areas but with conditions attached, notably to quality and security. We shall of course forward more details when available.
