Modernization plans of Puerto del Carmen, important news and information.
We are pleased to report that on Friday 20th December, COTMAC (Comisión de Ordenación del Territorio y del Medio Ambiente de Canarias) reported favourably on the plans for the modernization for Puerto del Carmen which included our applications for members properties located in the Los Mojones and Risco Prieto areas. The report is now incumbent on the Council of the Canaries final approval, and following this the Cabilido and the Ayuntamiento of Tias will be responsible for the management of the plan. We are aware that there are a number of reports currently being circulated and in the press purporting that the application process is now complete but this is not the case, and our legal team are currently preparing a statement that will clarify the situation.
