A new boat arrived on the island early in the morning, according to reports from the Civil Guard, to the area of Caletón Blanco, in Órzola. So far, 28 immigrants have been located , all of them male, without confirming if there is a minor.
About 8.20 hours the Civil Guard was aware of the sighting of a boat type patera in the municipality of Haría. Apparently the boat, about 6 meters long and 2.5 manga, came to Caletón Blanco to an area of difficult access.
On the march, the security device was activated on land composed of the PAFIF (Fiscal Patrol and Border) and Security components of the Main Post of Costa Teguise, in coordination with the Local Police of Haría. The Órbigo River patrol has also carried out preventive surveillance by the sea.
The emergency health services that are attending the ‘paper cups’ that will go to the National Police,which is the competent body for immigration matters, also moved to the site .
