The Canary Institute of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy (ICHH), under the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands, will again carry out a blood collection campaign to give the possibility of donating to donors and residents of the municipalities of Arrecife, Tías and San Bartholomew.
In this way, an ICHH team will travel Monday and Tuesday to Hiperdino Valterra in the capital of Lanzarote from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. On Wednesday and Thursday, it will be at the Biosfera shopping center in Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías, from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, while on Friday it will go to the Deiland shopping center at Playa Honda, in San Bartolomé, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
As for the fixed donation point of the Canary Transfusion Network on the Island, it would be at the Molina Orosa Hospital from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The ICHH reminds that giving access to blood donation is part of the mission attributed to this institution, so that capturing and raising awareness are daily tasks that contribute to the sustainability of the health system.
