Awards and distinctions do not stop raining down on Lanzarote as a destination. In fact, the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Lanzarote Tourism team, traveled to Ireland this week to collect the award for ‘Best Winter Destination’, awarded by the Irish Travel Agents Association.
The President and Minister of Tourism of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, thanked the Association for the recognition and pointed to the Irish market as one of the most faithful on the Island.
The CEO of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor Fernández, explained that the Island was chosen as the best winter destination among national and international candidates such as Gran Canaria, Tenerife, New York and Dubai and emphasized that “this is not the first time we received this distinction, demonstrating the strength and consolidation of our destiny”.
