It looks like the new draft in respect of holiday rentals could be presented soon. The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Teresa Lorenzo, said today in the full Parliament of the Canary Islands that she expects to have a draft to amend the decree on homes for vacation rental ready before the summer.

Yesterday the Canary Islands government, the Cabildo of Lanzarote and Asolan met to “analyse the problem” of tourist villas in Lanzarote. We shall of course keep the site updated of the situation.
