The CACT has deployed its network of this week, which will allow free access to the Internet
From this week Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes, Mirador del Rio, Fire Mountains, Monumento al Campesino, Cactus Garden and Castillo de San José, will offer free WiFi to Lanzarote as a tourist destination forming a pioneering initiative in the Canaries.
These “Smart WiFi zones”, which are part of the CACT, will enable any user of smartphones, WiFi laptops or consoles, not just connect to the Internet but also enjoy geolocated information on the characteristics of each school, its culture and dining or events of interest in those days.
Thus, with this deployment, and operational on Monday, October 31, Lanzarote Island becomes the first access in Spain, to be located the network of Centres of Art, Culture and Tourism of Lanzarote Island in 6 the 7 municipalities in Lanzarote.

To log on, you only need to bring a WiFi wireless device and enter the starting platform.
