Mercadona company representatives have confirmed this morning with the Minister of Industry, Trade, Consumption and Energy of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Emilio Bermudez, who are being processed for implementation of projects on the island, namely two establishments in the city of Arrecife a third in Tias. “Now, the counselor says everything is pending that municipalities streamline the procedures of qualifying land.”
Bermudez described as “very satisfactory” conclusions from the meeting with representatives of Mercadona and considered that “the implementation of this undertaking a very significant influence on the price of the basket” he said.
Mercadona is a distribution company with 100% Spanish capital. With an average of between 1,300 and 1,500 square feet of showroom, representing a market share of 13.1% over the total power in Spain and contributes to the dynamism of the business environment in which they are located.
