: No quarantine for vaccinated Brits from 19th July
The UK’s Transport Minister, Grant Shapps, this morning confirmed that, from July 19th, British tourists returning to the UK from amber list countries, including Spain, will not be required to quarantine if they have been fully vaccinated.
Children under 18 will also not be required to quarantine. However, the decision may adversely affect younger Brits who are not yet fully vaccinated.
British tourists will also be expected to comply with Spanish requirements, which currently include proof of full vaccination or recovery from Covid (for example, an NHS letter), or a PCR test
The Canarian Government also requires one of the above, or a negative antigen test, for everyone staying in licenced tourist accommodation.
