l Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Island Sports Service who heads the counselor Patricia Pérez, will open at 08.00 am tomorrow Tuesday, June 26 the deadline for registration in the ‘XXVI Swim across the River’, to be held Sunday, October 14

Both the registration form and the participation requirements, regulations and all the information related to this test can be obtained through the link http://www.lanzarotedeportes.com/tnelrio/inscripciones/ of the website of the Sports Insular Service .

As has been happening in recent years, for safety reasons, the Crossing is reserved for a maximum of 675 adult participants and 50 minors, aged between 14 and 17 years.

All persons interested in participating and who do not have a user account on the website of the Insular Sports Service, are advised to register through the link http://www.lanzarotedeportes.com/inscripciones/ , waiting from the moment the registration period opens.

The exit of the XXV Crossing to Nado el Río, which will cover 2.6 kilometers distance between the beach of Bajo el Risco, in Lanzarote, and the port of Caleta de Sebo, in La Graciosa, is scheduled for 11.30 am, but the organization reserves the decision to modify the distance or departure time, and even postpone the test, depending on the conditions of the tide.

Precisely, the search for the best possible conditions for the development of the test on its usual dates is what has caused the Sports Insular Service decided as a day of celebration of the Crossing on a Sunday, instead of a Saturday as it has come doing habitually
