The numbers of national tourist arrivals to Lanzarote have been even better than those recorded before the pandemic

The peninsular and Canary Island tourism has served as a lifeline to Lanzarote during the months of July and August. This has been accredited in the manager of Tourism Lanzarote, Héctor Fernández.

In fact, the numbers of national tourist arrivals improved to that of the summer of 2019, before jumping into the pandemic. Also from Tourism Lanzarote it is confirmed that the international market from the end of August has improved a lot.

In this sense, he highlighted the British flight schedule for the month of August, with acceptable occupancy despite still being in a pandemic. Experts’ forecasts are that the autumn-winter season will be good if no surprises occur.
