The Department of Tourism of the City of Tias Puerto del Carmen wants to show its best side during the next couple of months to welcome thousands of tourists who have been moved to Lanzarote from spending their holidays in Tunisia and Egypt.

So, next Saturday, in collaboration with the Folk Group Gaida, the area will be filled with Canarian music. At 19.00, visitors can enjoy the performance of the folk group and a taste of the Canaries in the vicinity of the Tourist Office on Avenida de Las Playas, and at 21.00 in El Varadero.

Councillor for Tourism, Traudi Gfoeller, City Council expressed interest in showing a “friendly face” to tourists who come for the first time to Lanzarote and that “if they are happy not only be repeated in the future but it will become free points promotion in their work and family environments in their country of origin. ”

“We all like to treat us well and especially when we had a bad experience,” she says.
