Two women had to be rescued yesterday by the firemen of the Consórcio de Seguridad y Emergencias yesterday Wednesday afternoon, when they were “trapped” in the cliff of Famara and could not climb to leave.

Alerted by the CECOS, the firefighters went to the place verifying that they were two people trapped in a hillside that they could not continue climbing for risk of falling. The Local Police was already there.

The security forces went up the slope of the cliff until they reached them, where they were already members of the Civil Guard.

Once safe , the emergency helicopter that had been warned to pick them up was canceled and they accompanied the two women, about 30 years of age, to the Civil Guard car where the medical personnel were waiting . Once there and having checked that they were in good health, they are taken to their car.
