Last month we informed you that the due to an issue between the Ayuntamiento and the company that provided the sunbeds on the beaches in Tias, the beds had all been removed. We are pleased to report that around 13 tenders have been received to supply the beds and cleaning services for Tias. We understand that a decision will shortly be made and the beds and services will be back. Good news for many. A few people have commented that they prefer the beaches in the natural state.
However, most visitors prefer to use sunbeds when on holiday. Indeed we recently spoke to holiday makers in the resort of Pueto del Carmen and they stated that they would not consider returning to the resort unless they knew that beds were available.
