The Lanzarote Business and Residents Association President Daniel Trigg was part of a group of representatives from local communities who have joined together to recognize, respect and support each other’s communities, help support and protect the people and the island and to work together progressively to move the island forward during 2020.

🙌 Muchas gracias a la comunidad inglesa, china e hindú en la isla por la donación de 4.000 kg de comida.

👉La presidenta del Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo Berriel, recibió estos alimentos acompañada de los consejeros de Sanidad, Bienestar Social y Centros Turísticos, Juan Manuel Sosa, Marcos Bergaz y Benjamín Perdomo, respectivamente. Corujo ha agradecido esta donación “pues en momentos como el que estamos viviendo por la crisis provocada por la covid19 son muchas las familias que necesitan ayuda y cualquier tipo de gesto solidario siempre es bien recibido”.

🤝 Por su parte, las comunidades representadas se mostraron muy satisfechas con el Cabildo de Lanzarote y expresaron su intención de “estrechar lazos con la población y poder tener una convivencia ambas comunidades, fructífera y enriquecedora para ambas culturas”.

Corujo was grateful for this donation “because at times like the one we are experiencing due to the crisis caused by covid19, many families need help and any kind of solidarity gesture is always well received.” 🤝 For their part, the communities represented showed themselves very satisfied with the Cabildo de Lanzarote and expressed their intention to “strengthen ties with the population and to have a coexistence between both communities, fruitful and enriching for both cultures.”
