THANKS TO DIGITAL LANCELOT
The Cabildo de Lanzarote, through SPEL-Turismo de Lanzarote, and the airline Binter Canarias have signed an agreement this Thursday to enhance connectivity and promote the Island in the tourist markets of Spain, Portugal and France.
The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and counselor of SPEL-Turismo Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, held a meeting with the representatives of Binter, Santiago Alfonso Guerra and Jonay Lobo, with the aim of materializing this co-execution marketing campaign that aims to increase the weight of the Island in these destinations.
Betancort highlighted the work carried out by Binter to expand its services internationally, already being a reference in the tourism sector of the Canary Islands, as well as the benefits that this may entail for the image of Lanzarote after the signing of this agreement.
The representatives of the airline thanked the willingness of the Cabildo de Lanzarote to continue betting on a Canarian company for the development of the economic engine of the Archipelago and assured that this agreement will be fruitful for both parties.
The campaign, which includes promotions on social networks, the media and outdoor advertising, among other channels, will be carried out in several Autonomous Communities of Spain, in Toulouse or in Funchal, with the possibility of reaching millions of people around the world.
New Binter aircraft
In another line of affairs, the president learned about the acquisition by Binter of several new Embraer aircraft for long-distance trips, some of which could be based in Lanzarote, “which will contribute to further increasing the tourist weight of the Island “, he assured.
