Corujo: “The bases of the call establish that the final amount of the aid line may be increased depending on the applications, so the figure of six million euros must be understood as the minimum amount to be granted”

The president of the Cabildo,  Mar ed Dolores Corujo, reported about creating a line of support to self – employed and micro (up to 10 workers) equipped with six million euros.

This new line of support, linked to the loss of earnings caused by the pandemic of  the  covid, will have a maximum of 2,500 euros, for autonomous or microenterprise, and is expected to be available from March, once final approval is complete of the budget and incorporated the remainders.

Mar ía Dolores Corujo has explained that it is intended that the processing of these grants be carried out entirely electronically in order to speed up the granting of them as much as possible.

To this end, the president has pointed out, an agreement is being worked out with the Lanzarote Chamber of Commerce to act as a collaborating entity, thus helping to make the aid available to its recipients in the shortest possible time.

“The bases of the call establish that the final amount of the aid line may be increased depending on the requests, so the figure of six million euros must be understood as the minimum amount to be granted”, Corujo stressed.
