So far this year, 7,510,078 travelers have passed through the Lanzarote airport

Lanzarote’s César Manrique airport registered 688,255 passengers in November, that is, 8.9% more than in this same month in 2022. In the first eleven months of the year, the island registered a total of 7,510,078 passengers, which It represents 12.1% more than in the same period of the previous year.

 

As a whole, the Canary Islands airports have registered 4,300,136 passengers in the month of November, exceeding the data for the same month of 2022 by 7.5%. In the accumulated year to November this figure amounts to 43,976,856 travelers, a 11.8% more than in the same period last year.

 

The airports of Gran Canaria, Tenerife South, Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna, César Manrique-Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, El Hierro and La Gomera record record numbers of passenger traffic both in the month of November, becoming the best in history , as in the accumulated.

 

Of the total number of registered travelers, 4,272,700 correspond to commercial passengers. Of them, 2,720,484 traveled on international flights, 10.3% more than last year, and 1,552,216 traveled on domestic flights, 4.1% more.

 

This month, 38,935 aircraft movements were managed, reflecting an increase of 5.9% over the same period in 2022. In addition, 2,692 tons of merchandise were transported, 0.9% more than last year.
