Lanzarote, like the rest of the Spaniards, will be able to stop worrying about the mask when they travel. And it is that the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, has announced this Thursday that on February 7 the Council of Ministers will approve the elimination of the mandatory use of the mask on public transport. The measure would enter into force a day later, on Wednesday, February 8.
The masks will have to continue to be used, on a mandatory basis, in health centers -except for people who are admitted to their hospital room-, nursing homes and in pharmacies.
