There is already a date for the opening of Primark in Lanzarote, and there is barely a month left. Indeed, on June 22 it will open its doors at the Open Mall shopping center in Arrecife. This is the first Primark store in Lanzarote and number 58 in Spain. The new store will create more than 100 new jobs, boosting the local economy.
With over 3,100 square meters of retail space, the store will offer the grand in-store experience Primark is known for. Primark Lanzarote customers will be able to buy the latest trends in fashion, everyday essentials, beauty, leisure and items for the home.
Primark is committed to offering more sustainable clothing at affordable prices for all, as part of its goal to make more sustainable fashion accessible to all.
Last April Primark launched its new website in Spain, the purpose of which is to establish a better connection between online search and store purchases. The new website features thousands of products from the best-selling Primark collections, as well as a refreshed design, improved navigation and a new feature that allows customers to check stock and size availability at their nearest Primark store, including the new shop in Lanzarote.

Last year Primark reinforced its commitment to Spain by announcing a €100 million capital investment in the Spanish market. This commitment includes 80 million euros in eight new stores and an extension, and an investment of 20 million in improving and renovating stores. Lanzarote is the second of these eight stores, after the opening of Primark Toledo Luz del Tajo last April. More than 1,000 new jobs will be created over the next two years, as part of the company’s growth plans in the country.
