Silvia has attended two medical appointments to translate for different clients, one to the Centro de Salud in Tías and the General Hospital in Arrecife. She also attended a presentation at Cámara regarding a new technology platform called Intelitur which is mainly EU Funded (70%).This new system will be available for small to medium companies from June and allows them access to realtime data relating to tourism. Additionally Silvia has attended meetings with the tourist board (Patronato Turismo) and charities benefiting from Lanzarote Rocks.

Lynsey is ensconced with the organisation of Lanzarote Rocks. This week the schedule has been agreed for the performers and the equipment list drawn up that each artist requires. The merchandise delivery deadline of today came and went in typical Lanzarote style, hopefully the t-shirts and wristbands will arrive on Monday. Lynsey also attended a meeting regarding this years Pride which will be held in July.

Karren has been working on a new database system.

Sue has been searching for sponsorship opportunities for both the St George’s Day concert as well as Lanzarote Rocks, so please contact her if you would like to be included. The LBA newsletters were printed and distributed as well as a visit to a member in Playa Blanca.
