THANKS TO GAZETTE LIFE LANZAROTE
Lanzarote continues to beat all previous records for tourist arrivals, with a total of over 2.2 million arrivals by the end of August.
Overall, the island received 7.5% more tourists by the end of this summer season than it had done in the same period in 2023.
Almost every month has seen a marked increase of tourism this year. The exception is July, when figures remained similar to last year.
If figures continue at this level, the island is due to receive 3.5 million visitors in 2024 – a higher number than in any previous year.
