Living in Spain – are you Brexit ready? With the end of the Brexit transition period just a few months away, we currently have some certainty regarding residence, healthcare and other citizen’s rights for UK nationals settled in Spain in 2020. The most important thing for anyone wanting unrestricted access to Spain after 2020 is to obtain Spanish residence to lock in today’s protections. You will also need to ensure your tax planning is adjusted accordingly. From 2021 there are no guarantees.
