By categories, the best macro and wildlife photo was for Eladio Frías and Joana Pereira; Marc Giménez and Ana Clavero won the award as best model; Sacha Lobenstein and Carlos González also took the award for the best free picture, and Yeray Delgado and Abigail Martín, the big winners of the night , also won the title for the best photo environment. By winning the category, each team won € 200 prize.

 

 

On the other hand, the final result of the competitions Lanzarote Geopark and Atlantic Museum that were made in parallel was also known. Pedro José Pérez managed to get hold of the Geopark with a magnificent photo of the volcanic landscape of the island between the clouds and Wojciech Dopieralto do the same with a snapshot of one of the underwater works of this unique museum located in the depths of the south lanzaroteño. Both participants received a check for € 800 in cash.

 

 

The present edition of the Open Photosub Lanzarote Mar de Lava had the participation of 18 teams that dived during two days to photograph the spectacular sea beds of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

 

 

As reported by the organization, the exciting trophy delivery was accompanied by an attractive and subtle lighting by Shelma who set the stage perfectly. Before knowing the verdict of the jury , the amazing photographs taken by all the teams were also screened, as well as the video summary of the competition with scenes taken during Thursday and Friday.

 

 

The joy and euphoria of the participants continued with the concert of Funk Four in Pub Malasaña to bid farewell to this tenth edition in style.

 

 

The 10 years of the Open Photosub Lanzarote Mar de Lava had as novelties the opening of the exhibition ‘Lanzarote Submarina’, which can be visited until July 31 at Marina Lanzarote, and the level of the awards whose amount amounted to 15,000 euros for the first time that were distributed in trips, material and checks.
