WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE FUTURE OF LANZAROTE
Five Communities One Voice
As you may know Daniel Trigg President of the Lanzarote Business and Residents Association has successfully succeeded in bringing together five Lanzarote based communities to jointly work together for the future of Lanzarote. The community groups are represented by their presidents on behalf of the Hindu, Chinese, Arabic, French and English-speaking communities of residents, made up of British and Irish, Norwegian, the groups are;

On Monday 8th June this new consortium attended a meeting at the Cabildo and met with the President of the Lanzarote Cabildo María Dolores Corujo, together with Angel Vazquez and Juan Manuel Sosa. Daniel introduced each association and representatives and explained their objectives. Primarily to support and work with each other to ensure the future of Lanzarote for this and the future generations to come. Every person in Lanzarote needs representation, these are unprecedented times and every individual and business needs support to survive. This group have pledged to work on behalf of their communities not just for now but till at least 2025 to help improve the economic climate and safeguard the growth of the island. There followed a general discussion regarding varying topics including; health care-education – economy – tourism – employment – island promotion – subsidies – grants – information. It was agreed that it is abundantly clear that we all need to work together for the future of Lanzarote.
